Why The Absence?

So sorry for the absence!  I was diagnosed with cancer earlier this month so life and stamping has been put on hold for a while.  I hope to start pumping out new creations soon when the energy returns.

More 3" x 3" notepads

I made a few more 3" x 3" notepad covers that I wanted to share with you!

The first one is made with the stamp set called World Treasures and is accented with Stampin' Up!'s dahlias and basic rhinestones.  I added a second pic so you could see a side view showing the post-it note pad.

The second notepad is made with a stamp set called Established Elegance.  I love the vintage look of this set!  It is accented with a small soda pop top and basic rhinestones.

The last notepad is made with a set that I love that I finally pulled out of my stamp closet and started playing with.  It is called Best of Everything!  As you can see, I love the basic rhinestones!  They finish off a project so effortlessly!

March's Stampers' 10 Club Projects

This first project was made using the Daydream Medallions stamp set stamped in/on Daffodil Delight CS and the Bloomin' Marvelous SAB stamp set.  I also used the Floral Frames Framelits, Chevron embossing folder, Silver Basics Designer buttons, white baker's twine, Basic Gray 1 1/4" Two-Tone Ribbon, Basic Rhinestones, and Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack.

The second project uses the stamp set Summer Silhouettes and Bloomin' Marvelous SAB.  I used the tutorial that I posted from a previous blog post that you can view HERE on how to make this little notebook.  The base is Sahara Sand CS and the ink colors are Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade.  Again, I used the rhinestones and Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack along with the matching Calypso Coral ruffled ribbon.  The inside is a 3" x 3" post-it note pad and a mini gel pen on the side; both were purchased at Staples.

I hope you feel inspired.

A baby card for Rebecca!

This is the card I made for my good friend, Rebekah, to welcome her new baby girl, Kate!  This is from the set "Little Additions".  It is my favorite baby set since I was introduced to Stampin' Up! 16 years ago!  The featured color is Calypso Coral.
